The trials performed with Belfeed on gestating sows demonstrated an improvement in feed digestibility (dry matter andenergy). These positive results are consistent with previous findings in other animal species and can be explained by the ability of Belfeed to release entrapped nutrients from the fiber structure. By unlocking these nutrients, Belfeed enhances their availability and accessibility to endogenous enzymes and thereby, leading to better overall digestibility.

With this new authorization, Belfeed further expands its application range in swine species, including suckling piglets, weaned piglets, fattening pigs, lactating sows, and now gestating sows. In addition, Belfeed is also approved for use across all poultry species. This expanded registration reinforces Belfeed’s position on the market as a versatile, science‑backed solution for optimizing feed efficiency and supporting animal performance across multiple species.
