It is already 6 months since Raquel joined the Belfeed team as business development manager. She will mainly take care of the LATAM regions as well as Spain and Portugal.
Raquel is originally from Spain and moved to Belgium in 2014. She studied Veterinary Medicine and Food Science and Technology in Spain.
She also holds a Master in Food Safety and Quality Auditing.
Through those different background studies she gained a broad knowledge about the food chain: ‘from the farm to the table’, where the health of animals and humans is completely interconnected.
In 2020, she finished her PhD in Veterinary Sciences focused on mucosal immunology and oral vaccine development in pigs. During her PhD journey, she collaborated in several research projects for external companies centered on the prevention of gastrointestinal diseases, mainly E. coli infections, and gut health in piglets.
It was not easy to join in such troubled times; she will be very happy to travel soon to meet our customers!
Ya han pasado 6 meses desde que Raquel se unió al equipo de Belfeed como BDM. Raquel se ocupará principalmente de Latinoamérica, España y Portugal.
Raquel es española y reside en Bélgica desde 2014. Ella estudió Medicina Veterinaria y Ciencia y Tecnología de los Alimentos en España.
Raquel también cursó un máster en Auditoría de Calidad y Seguridad Alimentaria.
A través de sus diferentes estudios, Raquel obtuvo un amplio conocimiento sobre la cadena alimentaria: ‘de la granja a la mesa’, donde la salud de los animales y los humanos está completamente interconectada.
En 2020, Raquel terminó su doctorado en Ciencias Veterinarias enfocado en la inmunidad mucosal y el desarrollo de vacunas orales en cerdos. Durante su trayectoria doctoral, Raquel colaboró en varios proyectos para empresas externas centradas en la prevención de enfermedades gastrointestinales, principalmente enfermedades producidas por E. coli y salud intestinal en cerdos.
No ha ido fácil unirse al equipo durante estos tiempos tan complicados; ella estará feliz de poder visitar nuestros clientes pronto!
